He's Not Done - Turning the Mundane into Something Purposefully Unique and Incredibly Useful

Have you ever looked at some everyday item, and wondered, "what if I did _____ to that mundane thing? How cool would that be?" And then you set out to do it. And whatever you did completely changed the original purpose, transforming the ordinary into something unique and incredible?

I believe that at times we get so settled into the comfortable boxes of our life, that we see ourselves as that everyday, mundane item. Nothing special here, move on.

But what if God isn't done? What if He has another transformation waiting for you to step into that He planned from the very beginning of your life? A plan to create something unique, incredible, and useful, maybe in a different way than you've seen your life up to this point? Maybe even different than the way anyone has ever viewed you - but the thought of it sets your heart on fire. It lights a passion in you and makes your palms sweat.

Would you take that step? Do you believe that He can still use you? Even at your age? Even with the kids grown? Even on your own? Even if you are married? Or divorced? Or wherever you are at this moment in time? Can you see the potential that He sees?

I stepped into an opportunity that I thought was going to be about getting us out of the financial hole my illness helped create. And it is doing that -- but more than that it has helped me find new purpose, sweet friendships, and better health. In a word, God is using this project to transform little old, everyday me into something purposefully unique!

We can take those old boats, or beater cars we've been driving around and transform them into something new!
